I'm not sure that I need/want an AirBed but I was just wondering if they are easily punctured?
Does anybody know?

I know that something terrible might have happened to her but I still think that she simply decided to find herself a new (and quieter) home, just as she did when she arrived out of the blue in my house. She was so friendly, as so stunningly beautiful, that she wouldn't have had any problems finding a new slave:

When I first heard about declawing cats I thought it was good idea. I have since discovered just how barbaric it is. Thankfully, it's illegal here.
I try to keep them from going under my bed and have blocked off all possible ways in. Yet I regularly find a cat yelling from the dusty cave, they get in and can't get out. I understand fully Chris's cat flap problem.

>>> I think they are sneaky
. . . but that's exactly why they're so wonderful, Anne!
None of my cats have ever deliberately scratched me, Rowanwitch. However a cat that's desperately trying to avoid being put into a cat carrier tends to thrash about with his claws in order to climb out of it. That's not good news for the human who's holding both him and the cat carrier!

Put the carrier down Snoops walked in, gets out at the vets plonks himself down starts purring, my Brenda however, put carrier down, drag Brenda from behind sideboard, drop Brenda because of sudden pain in hand, retrieve Brenda from beneath bed this time wearing gardening gloves. Try to put cat with what seems like ten legs into carrier. Brenda escapes, retrieve Brenda from top of kitchen cabinets.... etc etc
Get to vets she is a little black and white angel, headsets and purring vet fetches injection Vet moves arm with cat attached by all four sets of claws plus teeth., vet suggests sedative next time.
I miss them both, the vet doesnt

My cat's are fine when they get to the vet's surgery, RW. They simply freeze in fear. With them being so apparently docile, it's probably hard for the vet to see why I've had to reschedule their appointments several times (because I couldn't catch them) before finally getting them there.
Earlier this year I had to take all four of them to the vet (one at a time). The first two weren't too difficult but then things got tricky. On one occasion, after having rescheduled the appointment several times because I couldn't catch little Tablo, I had to phone the nurse from the surgery car park to say that, although I'd got the cat there I still couldn't take her inside. That was because she'd managed to break off the door of the cat carrier, resulting in me having a cat loose in my car (so I couldn't open the door). Fun, fun, fun!
