I had my front garden turned into a block paved drive. The person did it while i was away on holiday. My neighbors came and told me off when i got home that when he cut the tiles he didn't dampen down and their cars and house Windows were covered in brick dust. Should i offer to get their cars and Windows cleaned?

would be a nice gesture
Yes I would you don’t want to annoy your neighbors
Won't do any harm, a decent gesture , maybe a word with the work person .
No, you have been told off, so leave it at that.

No, wasn't your fault.

Perhaps I'll be mischievous and offer to send my six year old to clean the cars
Yes, get their cars and windows cleaned.
Mind the brickdust doesn't scratch the cars.
lol..he's a big boy now !
Seems a decent thing to do. Oil on troubled waters etc.
I would, Bednobs.......what would you expect if you were in their position?
No.
I wouldn’t expect my neighbour to do this in this situation, I’d just put my car through the car wash and clean my windows myself.
If I was the neighbour I would be pleased with the offer. However, I would have, by now, had them cleaned myself. I would say Thank you, but no thank you. Then, I would hope that the the 'guilty' neighbour would have a word with the workman and maybe offer me a bottle of wine as a 'Thank you for being understanding' gesture.
I would, I think it would be a nice things to do, even though I wouldn't have complained to you about it happening if I was your neighbour.
I wouldn't have mentioned it, except maybe a joke about did you read about our duststorm while you were away. Now you know they were not happy a small token by way of apology would be nice. Flowers or a potted plant maybe
No. On my walk into town, I pass some major building renovations and building works....all the cars parked along the road are in a disgusting state. I don't expect any of the owners are expecting the contractors or property owners to pay for their car valeting. It's what happens when work is being done.
Yes offer, that might be enough to appease them...or not....

several of us have had home stuff done here that is dusty or messy...I don't remember any of the workmen damping down or anybody being particularly bothered.....If the work was done during the recent dry spell, IMO it would have been very wasteful of water to do so. having said that though, a couple of my neighbours can be prickly and I think it makes good practical sense to maintain the moral high ground in my dealings with them. In this case I would probably proffer an apology and a dcecent bottle of wine.
maybe the cars; windows are easier to clean and they should be doing it themselves.
