I have one and I use it frequently. It does a good job but you do have to buff the windows with a piece of paper towel afterwards to get rid of the annoying streaks.
I have one (an impulse buy at Costco) It's useful for cleaning the bathroom tiles that can't be reached with the shower hose. I`m not sure I would go out of my way to buy it just for the windows though.
another vote for, do all the windows and great for 14 feet of mirror wardrobes. The latter used to take the best part of the day by hand getting rid of the smears, all done in an hour now.
On the shower screens does it deal with limescale marks? Does anyone have any good ways of cleaning the screens in a very hard water area? It's a nightmare here, Norfolk.
We have a Vax Steam Fresh Combi Classic Steam Mop - S86-SF-CC. The "hand held" module is great for cleaning windows - esp on the inside of the car. It does however require a little "buff" with a linen tea towel to remove the odd marks/drops of water.
Zebo, we are in a hard water area and use Daryl Glass Cleaner - it really is good - but it isn't cheap. Here are details of one supplier:-
Zebo, this works on shower screens and is cheap: spray with vinegar and leave it to soften - the longer the better depending on how much limescale. Make up a paste with half baking soda/half salt and a little water and use it with a damp cloth to clean the screen. If heavily stained it may take two or three goes to get back to "as new" but it does work.
