Mozilla Thunderbird

I use Mozilla Thunderbird (MT)to receive & send my e-mails which are re-directed from Sky.
However MT has recently starting asking for a Password which I typed in and I received my e-mails ok.
However after several hours, MT asks me again for the Password which I submitted but MT will not allow me access to my e-mails.
My PC Operating System is Windows XP
Has anybody got any ideas on what the problem is with me not being able to access my e-mails thru MT ?
I can still access my e-mails via Sky but I would much rather use Mozilla Thunderbird.

Delete your account details in Thunderbird. (You won't lose any existing mail). Close the program and then re-open it. Then create the account again. With a bit of luck that should fix your problem.
