Please help.
I lost my old smart phone which had my sim card in it. I had pictures on it which I need for insurance purposes but now have a new phone with a different provider. Is there any way I can retrieve these photos???

Thanx

If you used Google Photos to view pictures on your phone they should, by default, have been backed up in the cloud. (If you used a different app, such as Gallery, they won't have been).

So if you used Google Photos you might well be able to find your photos through signing into your Google account on a PC

Unless you saved them to Cloud storage (Or you've got them saved to a hard drive on a PC), I doubt there's much you can do. The photos wouldn't be saved to the sim card. If you needed them, then a hard back-up copy would have been the best way of saving them.
Following on from Buenchicos answer.

Make sure you log on to Google Photos on the web with the same gmail address you used on your OLD (lost) Android phone.

Hopefully the photos and videos off your old phone should have been uploaded to Google Photos in the cloud.
