My Suede leather hat has a mark on the brim where a sticker was removed, any idea on how to remove or disguise it please? It's about 2" across and circular

You'll probably need to stich feathers together first so you can get coverage / density you need then sow that to your hat.

Vonda not sure about any chemical treatment, but you could cover it with some artificial flowers made into a rosette.

Umm, I have been trying to arrange a couple of small feathers over it, but they keep bending the wrong way! I don't want to make it worse.

The mark is most likely from the adhesive on the sticker. I would try to wipe/clean it away using isopropyl alcohol. The trick is to get hold of it, not easy in the UK.
Very easy Karl and not really expensive.

isopropyl alcohol boots
Electrical supply merchants stock Isoprophyl alcohol as it is used for cleaning electrical contacts.
I have learned something - up to now whenever I have talked of or asked for it I get strange looks as if I am advocating some sort of bomb making or something. I simply knew nothing of its availability and will now test this new information.
I'd take it back to the shop and berate them for sticking stickers in stupid places.
