Our electricity is privately metered. The price per unit has increased from 12.4 p to 15.2 p. A 22.58% increase.
Ofgen regulations state that there is a maximum resale price which must be adhered to.
The problem is, with so many suppliers out there, how do we know where the landlord gets the supply from and at what cost.
Also, with no daily standing charge, is 15.2 pence per KWH reasonable.
>>> is 15.2 pence per KWH reasonable It's a lot better than many people pay. I'm on British Gas's 'Safeguard' tariff and, from 1 January, I'll be paying 16.5p per kWh plus a daily standing charge.
Cheers Tony, unfortunately we are tied in to landlord for leccy supply.
Our gas , we can pick and choose supplier. I just need to know where landlord goes to for leccy and at what cost to see if they conform to the regulations.

SK....15.2p aint bad...consider the original install and upkeep of the site supplies. The install costs for a 50 pitch site with average spacing would be circa £70k and then the supplies should be tested every 3/5 years. Many domestic customers are paying similar if you include the standing charge.
That's a good deal SK. I have just signed up to a new deal with no daily rate charges as I was paying 45.15p a day just on the daily rate. That's £164.79/year even if I never used any gas or electricity at all! What a flaming liberty as my old granny would say.
