My daughter has realised she has mice. Its a rented flat from a private landlord.

Does she have to deal with the problem herself or can she make the landlord do it?

Or, as its a upstairs flat (2nd floor/top) i assume they must be coming ouf of a gap in the walls would the management company be responsible.

Thanks in advance.

Has she phoned the landlord?
Question Author
Yes she has and left a message but still waiting for him to get back to her.
In the meantime get some poison.

My husbands going over there later, see what he can do.
We had mice or rats (I can't tell the difference) and ordered some stuff from Amazon. It did the trick.

My cats a good ratter as well.
Mummy & daddy mice are.

In your daughter's shoes, I'd inform the landlord; but I'd not hang about. Problems need solving, get started oneself to be sure. Gaps can be plugged; poisons put down, traps laid.

Thank you, her Dad is on his way over now as she's freeking out.
If you have got a pet who is a rat/mouse hunter then DON'T put down poison!
Question Author
Thanks Woof, no she's doesnt have any pets.
A couple of quid at the local pound shop for traps and a bit of bacon rind for bait will soon solve the problem.
