Ferolli combi boiler wont fire up

On Friday last week we had a power cut, while the power was off some body ran the hot water tap, obviously the water ran hot for a short while until the boiler cut out due to the fact that there was no power to run the fan & Pump, however after electricity was restored the boiler no longer works, initially there was no response from it at all, but now when you turn on the central heating all the lights on the circuit board light up, but all the boiler does is make a buzzing sound, any Ideas.
