12 cm x 500 cm is the staed size so it looks like 12cm, although if it's 5m long it seems like a rather long thin bag unsuitable for storing anything apart from some fishing rods or similar

I suspect though it's a pack of 12. Are you sure the units aren't cm³

FF - that's why I have asked the question - I don't know either.

I am looking for the plastic bags the width of you know the ones in the vegetable shops - they look like a foot wide. They are for freezing food for me. The ones I have are too narrow so I have to double or triple wrap.

I think the idea is you cut off the length you want and seal the ends yourself (DIY...)

Well I would either ask the seller to clarify; or just ignore it and look elsewhere- if they can't be bothered to give a proper specification then maybe they can't be bothered giving a good service

It's one long bag JJ and you lop off what you need and seal the ends in a machine that melts the plastic together. If you don't have a machine that does that, you don't want that roll.

You need to use it to select your preferred size, with the item price automatically being adjusted to match.

These are individual bags.
They come in several sizes. (A foot is roughly 300mm.)

You can get resealable most Supermarkets in sensible quantities for a couple of pounds.

That would be roughly 300mm x 230mm or 30cm x 23cm.
