Big Pillowcases
13 Answers
Hi Folks. Any help/suggestions appreciated for where I can get larger than normal white cotton pillowcases. I recently bought a pair of wonderful pillows from Aldi, but they are super stuffed with feathers/down, and burst out of ordinary pillowcases. The label describes them as King pillows, so I guess I need King size pillowcases, which you'd think would be easy to find, but they're not. Why the world is addicted to online shopping is beyond me - I'm just going round in circles. Any help? I'm in Ireland, though that's not necessarily relevant, and I'd like 200/400 thread count white cotton. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Margo, will investigate Also Woofgang, I think you've hit the nail on the head with my problem. All Kings are indeed not equal, and I think the one you've linked to would be a bit on the flappy side. But how does one measure a pillow? I suppose what I'm really hoping for is someone who's bought the same Aldi pillows, who has also found perfect pillowcases, and is on Answerbank. Preferably in the next half hour. Ever the optimist!

Sincere thanks to you all for your excellent input. I've just ordered two pairs, thanks to the link from Woofgang, and the dimensions from Margo - together they provided the solution. I know I could maybe have held out for them to appear in Aldi at some point, but you really need to be popping in very regularly to get lucky, and that's not possible for me. Thanks again. Sweet dreams!
