I'm looking for a small pan - I have one big pan and one wee pan but I want one in the middle.

There is no measurement on the small pan but if I measure do I measure the inside diameter or measure across upstanding pan.

Diamater inside small pan is 6" and measuring across the top of pan is 8". I want about 2" inches more (I know it is cm). anyway when I go to buy what is the correct measurement to look for.

A test was done on frying pans on a tv show recently and Wilko pans came out as favourite, if you have Wilko where you live.

Aldi do or used to do a one egg pan. It was literally that small.
Your 8" pan is 20cm, the next size would be 22 or 24cm, depending on how much larger you want your new pan to be.
Question Author
bought one and it is 24cm - big enough for what I want. Thanks all
