Artificial Grass

I am thinking of putting the above in my small lawn in the near future. I have reseeded quite a lot this year but it has not germinated - this is due to Maxie urinating.
The garden is about 21feet by 16feet - anybody give me that as a measurement for the grass and perhaps a quote.
Also was reading a little about it ie like screws in and the maintenance like would the urination cause problems.
I did enjoy mowing the little I had but due to pain I can no longer maintain it myself. thanks for any answers.

Unfortunately, I live in a shared ownership property and the landlord would not allow me to do this and so I went for the artificial grass. Even this isn't maintenance free though. As others have mentioned, it does need the occasional hoover or sweep for the leaves that congregate, and would you believe, weeds still poke through and have to be dealt with. I don't want to influence you either way, but if I could have had it, I would have had it paved. x
It seems such a shame to deprive a pet of a small piece of grass. I doubt if Maxie will soil it, any more than he would soil a carpet. Natural grass is so lovely, full of insects worms etc. Artificial grass is lifeless and looks it. I know mowing becomes difficult, but can you find someone who will mow it for you? Artificial grass to me is worse than artificial flowers.

I have to disagree with you on that. The artificial grass you can buy these days is very real looking and you can jazz it up in different ways. The best thing I like about it is that my grandchildren can play out all year round and not come in with muddy wet clothes and shoes. Also as I said earlier if the weather is hot, it still keeps its lovely green colour and doesn't burn like real grass.

I wasn't suggesting he is deprived and I know you adore him. I just think it would be a shame if his little lawn would be replaced, because, especially in the summer months, he probably spends time out in the garden and dogs, as you know, love sniffing around on the grass. The first thing our dogs have ever done when they go outside is have a wee. They don't hang on for a walk.
