As far as I can make out they have one compressor
I have just bought one and was surprised to see there is only one temperature dial that controls both fridge and freezer. I have not yet found a setting which keeps the fridge at the right temperature ( 2-4 degrees C for me) and freezes things in the freezer. Either the fridge items freeze up or the freezer items defrost. I'm not sure if that's due to having one compressor.
Is your appliance indoors FF
Miele and others do make dual compressor f/freezers but they are of course more expensive.(You get what you pay for) This site is worth a read through TTT.

No, MT- which may be the key. It's in a garage but it's been pretty mild since we got it last week. But I think the retailer/manufacturer will say that is be the problem. I know it's not recommended but other people I know don't seem to have a problem.
Have one compressor but two sets of coolant pipes that can be adjusted to different temperatures, one for freezing the other for cooling each with their own stats.
fiction f you just need to keep playing with dial until both are at your preferred temperatures.
That's why I asked FF. When we bought ours we went to a small local outlet and explained that it would be in a garage and the only one he recommended was a Beko which we bought and have never had any trouble with.
