Broken Window Handel

I have double glazing and one handle has broken internally it cannot be opened. do I drill into the lock or remove the panel of glass to access it? Any help I would be great full

I think I'd have tried to get a locksmith in. Or maybe better, the installers of the window.
Various way of locking window mechanism's. Shouldn't involve removing glass unit though. Window installer best bet.
Unscrew the handle. The screws are under plastic covers which need removing. You can then move the inner mechanism to open window.
Did he write that before or after The Messiah? :-)
