How Can I Find Out Who Owns A Private Property?

Hi, my Auntie passed away 3 weeks ago and was cremated last week, we're trying to get hold of her partner who has now become quite elusive, my Uncle is next of Kin so i'm assuming he has rights to all of my Aunties belongings as we cannot find her will, because we cannot for love nor money contact my Aunties partner as she is refusing to answer calls and messages and we obviously cannot travel at this moment in time as we're in Leicester and my Auntie lived in Skegness we wondered if there was any way we could find out who owns the house my Auntie lived in as she rented it privately from a landlord , not through an agency, so we could get in touch with him to find out what is going on as we've also heard a rumour that my Aunties partner has very quickly moved out hence taking all of my Aunties belongings with her, there is a very thick plot with all that is going on, if anybody could help me i would greatly appreciate it? 'Next of kin' has no legal status - and I don't think you can assume 'he has rights to all of my auntie's belongings', that might be dealt with in any will.
