Hi everyone,

we have been given a 1000 words essay on
"Analyse whether the Land Registration Act 2002 properly balances the need for certainty, transparency and security against the requirement for justice to be done."


so in this question i am very much confused about what topic do i need to explain! only one thing which is coming on my mind is overriding interest. if any of you just give me some issues or points to discuss on regarding this question then plz help!

Look at the changes to the LRA that have been proposed by the Law Commission in order to identify it's current failings and work from there:

This is a standard subject for a law essay
and something like it will come up at the years end - in a week or two

there should be a chapter on this in your land law text book near the beginning - chap 1

@peter pedant, I know that the security thing is in regards to e-conveyancing! But what about the transparency and certainty?
