Does anyone know if there's still any point of posting by mail newspaper and magazine crossword and puzzle answers. I've just about used up the sheet of stamps bought before lock-down - have I wasted my money or can I still hope to one day be a winner?

i hope so as i'm still posting newspapers and mags except real people which says no postal entries x
If the deadline is tight I'd be worried they may not reach in time but of course if you stop entering you'll never win.

I have continued sending in my Charity Quiz entries, even if they miss the close date I won't win but the Charity will get my money.
I don't submit crossword and puzzle solutions, so I'm cerainly no expert, but I've seen loads of posts over the past couple of months stating that certain publications (e.g. the Daily Telegraph) aren't currently awarding prizes. So, if you're in the habit of just sending off your entries to regular addresses, it might be worth checking the current small print first!
As Mamya indicates, it's worth allowing extra time for any valid entries to reach their destinations. I recently received a 2nd class package from an eBay seller that took 14 days to travel a fairly short distance!
