Washer/Dryer Advice

Intend changing old washing machine/ dryer and do not want a large one, any advice would be helpful

I can't recommend a specific model, but we bought an LG washing machine a number of years ago and we've never had a problem with it.
It has a 10 year warranty on the direct drive motor and at the mo, if you register your appliance online, you get a free 5 year warranty:
