What is the best thing to use to clean an LED telly screen?

I would just use some window cleaner do you know what the staining is?

an optical cleaner...I use one from specsavers on both telly and glasses

You should never use window cleaner, the screen has coatings that a strong window cleaner can damage. I use a screen cleaner (Eco Natural Screen Cleaner) and a microfibre cloth.
Also read the manual in case specific cleaners should be avoided.
