Just got a lovely plant of my daughter. Do I remove the see through celephane round the plant or is it offering support?

These potted orchids usually have a thin stake attached with small clips to the stem, that’s all the support they need.

Don’t over water or leave in water, semi shade. It will flower every year if you lightly water when not in flower. Good luck! Quite a hardy plant.
