Is it possible for split couples to have separate properties at dss expense, to accomodate their children?
Answers
No, Ive been in this position after splitting from the mother of my son. I was unemployed at the time and was only entitled to a one bedroom property. (no where for my son to sleep) If a two bedroom property was accepted then a bedroom tax is imposed if the kid(s) arnt classed as living at the address.
