Washing machine engineer has been and evidently the door lock is faulty. The spare he had was not the one needed so the correct one has been ordered. Will not arrive until at least Friday. Could run out of clean clothes by then if not careful. Interesting.

Launderette (8 miles drive away) does not let you wash clothes. You leave washing and come back a week later to collect. Not much of an improvement really. Local covid restrictions.

BookB - I think other people will not be standing too close to me. I can still shower every day but will get a bit short on sparkly clothes. Maybe a towel or sheet wrapped round me will be the answer.

Does it still work though? I had a faulty door lock but it still worked. Just meant the door didn't lock so could be opened while it was on.

Unfortunately not possible Ummmm as engineer has taken faulty lock with him and left that part of the door in pieces.

Wimpoles? Running out as already had nearly two weeks worth to be washed when machine decided to go on blink. This will make it almost a month of mucky clothes.

That is a good suggestion Tilly if we had a bath. Got showers but bath is in the field to provide water for cattle. Don't fancy that.
