I'm with SSE Atlantic. As far as recommending them goes, all that I can say is that I have not had any problems with the company. I usually send in my meter readings by email, and the company has always accepted my readings, without any quibbling.
Don't touch Eon. I was with them or companies they bought for thirty years.
I left because their admin is incompetent. Anyone you speak to tries to pass you to someone else. When they do agree to help, nothing actually gets done. I would never use them again.
