morning everyone, yet another early start, but i don't mind as long as i get some sleep, which i have. I hope that you are all well and in good spirits, looking forward to the day ahead.
i have some furniture being delivered today, as i had decided to make my living room more in keeping with a classic style, though some pieces won't be delivered till next week. I am donating most of the current furniture to the British Heart Foundation who i hope will come and pick up the goods on the 22nd of July. I have given them furniture goods, clothes galore and feel that i am doing my bit for charity.
i will have to wait in for this furniture to arrive, but i don't mind, if its a nice day, and the sun shines would hope that once the goods have been delivered i can go out but if its an all day wait then so be it.
Just having a cup of tea and then going back to bed Em.
While I've got your attention, have you heard of Rame Lahaj? I went to the RoH last week and he was the lead in La Boheme.
Not bad here. I've been manically busy the last couple of days. I got the all clear from the Respiratory Physician yesterday and my recent chest x-ray was all-clear. He did say that I am anaemic with an Hb of 109g/L so I need to go to my GP and get some iron studies done. Otherwise he discharged me.
Went to the Kitchen place yesterday and made final alterations and paid the whole 25% deposit. It's all being fitted w/c 16 August :). I honestly can't wait.
It's good first opera to go and see LCG. Has some of the most popular arias that you may well recognise. Something to look forward toon for Bucket List.
Em did you decide to try the Melatonin or not?
i looked into it thoroughly LB, read what the doctor sent me and your post, and on reflection decided against taking it. I just have to bide my time, i am sure the sleeping pattern will come back - perhaps when the mornings are darker early. So thanks for the heads up all the same,.
i am hoping that the two pieces of furniture that are coming today aren't flat packed, as i don't like assembling stuff at the best of times and am in no frame of mind to start getting out the screwdrivers and such, last time i had something delivered, a glass bedside cabinet, it came flat packed which i hadn't realised, and in about 40 pieces, i tried putting it together, but it was hopeless and i sent it back.
