Setting Up New Lg Television

Please can somebofy help. My husband is in hospital and he suggested that I have a go at setting up our new television in the kitchen. Well I have the television working but I cannot tune it. I have tried two aerials but it isn't programming. I am sure this is where I have gone wrong but not sure how to solve it.

Can we have the model number please? (It's on the back of the set and/or the box it came in).

Here are the instructions on how to tune in your LG TV.
Press the Settings button (gear wheel) on your remote.
Select All Settings (3 vertical dots).
Select Programmes.
Select Programme Tuning & Settings.
Select Auto Tuning (This automatically tunes the programmes).

it may not work if your aerial connection/reception is faulty
