Leather jacket: this probably shouldn't be in this section, but there isn't really an area for colthes...i recently got my dad's old levi's leather jacket...it's a proper classic, it's almost thiry years ld, and is surprisingly , still in good nick...however, as it's thirty years old, my dad isn't as slim as he used to be, and the jackets been left to stand for about twenty of those thirty years, and it's got just a light sprinkling of mould, and smells musty....does anybody know if there is anything other than saddle soap that i cn clean the jacket with and get rid of the smell with?

As it is a "living" material it can dry out just like your own skin, therefore putting any sort of detergent on it can be risky. I suggest you take it to a specialist dry cleaners. They will be able to clean it safely for you to get rid of the mould and smell. This will cost around 30 but it will look as good as new. Hope that helps...
