Files Have A Status Of 'Syncing' Or A Cloud Symbol Next To Them - How Can I Remove That?

i had a dropbox & onedrive & ive cancelled them - but my files & folders still have a symbol beside them, - ones is a blue circle made up of 2 arrows & others have a cloud.

i can access the files & contents, but i cant move them - its just says the drive isnt connected

how can i remove this status & icon?

copy them to a non onedrive directory structure and then delete the whole onedrive directory, of course if you are sure and you have them backed up elsewhere.

i guess i'll try again & use an external drive.

i posted another post few weeks ago about my desktop disappearring except for the recycle bin, & i cant seem to put it all back or use it properly.
i may just do a factory reset
