Table Top Dishwasher
15 Answers
Seriously thinking of buying a table top dishwasher as although I've never owned a dishwasher in my life, I'm finding washing dishes to be a real chore.
If I had space for a full size one, then I might have gone for that but unfortunately I don't and as I live on my own, it probably wouldn't be worth it.
Just wondered if you could give me some tips on what to look for and if you can recommend one?
The things I was wondering about, do they move or do they sit firmly, do I need a plumber to plumb it in , those sort of things.
TIA.

I’ve had one for over a year now. It’s an ‘electric’ 6 settings. EQDWTTW. It’s not as big as an ordinary one but is quite adequate for me as I’m on my own, I usually use it every 3 days. I couldn’t find the receipt, but it won’t have been expensive. Can’t remember where I got it from either, probably Amazon or Argos.
helly, is that a table top or integrated dishwasher?
The only one I could find with that number was this one.

I always thought integrated meant built into a cupboard but this one says integrated table top.
Don't understand that.

Barsel - they are a boon like I don't have the table top one but a big one that came with the new kitchen. Some days one just doesn't have the wherewithal to do a dish or two - so I put them in the dishwasher and kitchen immediately looks tidy.
You would definitely need a plumber as he needs to link it into your water system - probably the same way as your washing machine.

Have ordered my table top dishwasher, it's due to arrive next Thursday.
Was told it's best to have it plumbed in, but the plumbers I've phoned today don't seem interested in the job and the price they want is ridiculous.
I have a nice corner in the kitchen next to the sink and above the washing machine where there will be the water supply, drainage and a spare socket on the wall.
Will wait until it arrives to see if it can be used as Barry has suggested.
Getting excited about not having to stand at the sink to wash up.

I could never see the point of a dishwasher until we spent two weeks in a holiday cottage that had one. I ordered one as soon as I got home and wouldn't be without one now.
I stack it as I go so when we sit down to eat the kitchen is clear. Mine must be over 20 years old now and I've never had a problem with it.
