My present-buying instruction is "Not yellow, but vermillion". Does this refer to the front cover, or what? Was the 2005 - or another similar version - yellow? I can't get back to the person that I'm buying it for. Please help!

As I believe The Yellow Book isn't available yet they probably mean Vermillion is the publisher. Ask at any good book store they should know. Failing that - a book token!!
Christmas shopping - don't you just love it?!
The Good Gardens Guide 2006 has a red (vermillion?) band across the bottom of the front cover. Perhaps that's what they are referring to as opposed to The Yellow Book.
