The Morning After The Day Before

So happy to say my street party was a resounding success, the weather was both sunny and cloudy but everyone turned out, we even had a visit from a Doctor who with his fold up chair, his Union Jack hat and his two bottles of cider, came and introduced himself, he’d been here 6 months from Pakistan and practices at the Freema hospital in Newcastle, he waved his flag with great gusto to Land of Hope and Glory,what a lovely chap he was , balloon arch looking a bit forlorn this morning :0)

I was hoping it went well for you as the weather down here at least was decidedly dodgy. When I went out I saw some people in the cul de sac opposite struggling against the wind to set up tables and chairs...they were all out late just as you were. No music though.
