...on the rates bill. It's been backdated to 2017. This means the rates office owe me over 1 thousand quid. I wonder will they send it to me or deduct it from future bills?
You will most likely have to apply for it Sandy. Prior to the £150 rebate, Burnley Council owed me £74.77 which i believed they would automatically reimburse me with. When i enquired, i was given a website to visit whare i found a form to fill in. At the end of the month, the money was in my account.
You must pay rates first of all by DD - I got it last year Sandy on the random advice of a neighbour. I did have to fill a form in online (it's easy enough to get). The rates bill was slashed nearly into half BUT if I can remember correctly - they took it off next year's rates which was great too. You must be 70 and live alone. Don't be telling them you will be looking after a wee dog LOL
Sandy - I have just emailed the said neighbour because she told me about another form (she knows everything) that perhaps you could be eligible for - think (my memory not good) but it gives you an allowance if your income is low.
She will email me back and I will let you know about this second form.
Anneasquith, they're still slightly off colour.
I need a letter of referral from my GP for an addiction treatment place I'm interested in so I'll likely need to make another appointment.
