My Zanussi washing machine is displaying error message 'EHO' which means there is a problem with the power supply. The plug socket is fine, as I've plugged something else in and it works. Has anyone else experienced this? I've tried a restart and leaving it unplugged for a few minutes but hasn't helped.

Control electronics usually work off low voltage DC supplies, so your 240v AC machine will have a converter. Maybe there is a problem with that.
Have you checked for a Tellytubby toy stuck somewhere?
17.12 he might have a point!
I agree with bhg. It's likely to be a fault in the machine's electronics.
The error message is completely useless. It tells you nothing.
If faulty electronics aren't letting the mains voltage through, then the machine is interpreting that as a power supply fault.

There are errors that flag up high or low voltages, but they are a different code from EHO.

Don't listen to Douglas. He's always mislaying his Teletubbies and blaming everyone else. ;o)
