Good morning, I normally ask crossword questions, but thought the Answerbank gang might know the answer to this one. I'm visualising metal inserts set into the back of the board which clip onto screw heads on the wall. Am I dreaming?!

Well done, divegirl, will they take the weight?

Thanks, Khandro, I think you and divegirl have the solution. I live in France, I'll need to work out the French name for these!
You need make a slot in the panel wider than the head of the screw on the wall about half an inch deep & hook the panel onto them
I've used 1'' ones to hang a chicken coop door on and it weighs far more that 3kg.
I've always called them keyhole fixings :)
the other suggestions above are flat they wont work, you need the dart board style hanger so the screw head has a place to go.
The ones divegirl linked aren't flat, so they should be ok.
Actually, you're right. You could get a screw head in there but it would be a nightmare. Ignore my last two comments (3 including this one).
