Strimmer Motor.

My strimmer worked on a test after bringing it out of storage. Then when I went to use it later it wouldn’t work. Did usual. checked the power trip plug, reset it. Checked all fuses.
Stripped the body of strimmer down. put a electrical test screwdriver on each brush terminal. It showed a positive on each terminal. 2 brush motor.
Is that what it should show. Thanks.
