Trim To Keep Out Flies!

I have ancient sash windows, which I open by pulling up from the bottom. Within seconds flies are in my room. I want to stick some kind of material or trim along the bottom of the window to keep them out, but can't find anything. Surely it exists? I don't want an entire screen over the whole massive window, just something to stick along the bottom which will make it hard for the flies to get in. Any ideas if there is anything available?
