How Can We Pensioners Bathe?

We are old,how do we bathe?

We are 76 and 77 respectively.

We now find getting into(and out of) the bath very difficult,and possibly dangerous.

Any suggestions?

Please bear in mind we are both on a State Pension,so it needs to be cheap, or with assistence from (maybe) a charity.

Hello there Pastafreak,

Yes,we have stopped bathing in case we get trapped!

Sadly we are not strong any more,so couldn't get our "stuck" partner out anyway.

Oh the joys of getting old(er)!

Contact your community OT team, ask about getting a bath lift. They are brilliant, sometimes they need to be combined with a step I have used on for ages.
