My Job Quote

My friend is looking to get in touch by email or phone to my job quote, she has had a problem with a tradesman. I can't find an email for direct contact for her only a form to fill in

Yes it looks like you fill in the form and say its a complaint, giving them your details, so they can get back to you.

Very few large organisations give out their email addresses to the general public these days.  It's a security measure to prevent malicious people from sending them hundreds of thousands of automated emails and thus crashing their web servers.  That's why web forms are used instead.

However using a web form is still actually sending an email anyway.  (i.e. your message will still end in in someone's email inbox, in just the same way as if you'd known their email address in the first place).

^^^ It might work but, if it does, your email will end up in exactly the same inbox as it would if you'd used the web form anyway.

As I say it's up to my friend, its very sad she has been taken in by a builder on  this  site, she was afraid to report him but I said he'd be doing it to others, anyway at least she's making a start.

Oh, it's not your job quote then; it's some company called 'my job quote'. Now the OP begins to make sense.
