I don't have one but I did use one for two weeks whilst we were on holiday.
It kept turning itself off for no reason I could work out. I couldn't really see the point of it - I think hot drinks made with reboiled water or kept hot is unpleasant.
I wouldn't consider one because my tap water is very hard. It would kill a Qooker.
I've led a travel survey team working at some very posh offices in Surrey. All of the office staff there were entitled to take a coffee break whenever they wanted, with everything provided for them and with hot water available from Quooker taps. Our team were invited to also make use of the facilities but I thought that it seemed far too easy to end up scalding oneself from those damned stupid taps. I simply couldn't get on with them!
I've got one and wouldn't be without out it. They are very safe and you've no more at risk of being scalded than with a kettle.
As an aside, if you have mobility problems with your hands, see if you can test one before buying. They work like a tablet bottle, press and turn. I could see it being a problem for some.
