Colour Ideas Please

The house I have moved into has wood affect cuboards in a teak/walnut colour sort of reddy brown, but with a plain grey worktop, (not my choice)  but we cannot afford to change anything at the moment, which colour, would you put with it for the tcs kettle, toaster etc.

Yellowish shades always go well with grey.

I'd go with black.

The colours you mention are warm (the cabinets) and cool (the worktop). Of course you could just pick colours you like.

Can the cabinets be painted?
