Our upstairs one needs changing, and I want to do it whilst MrSmow is away lol. (To see how long it takes him to notice when he gets back lol). I've had a quick look underneath as it seems to be a simple case of loosening this one and putting new one on(which I haven't bought yet btw). Ur for the life of me I cannot see how this one would even come off - it looks as though with all the will in the world these 'screws' etc would not undo!!

One doesn't want to overtighten, but I swear the seat doesn't always fit the holes in the porcelain, even if there's some kind of adaptor; and a seat that moves after a while is most disconcerting.
