Cucumber Branches

My greenhouse cucumbers are very healthy and vigorous,they've thrown out several branches with leaves,flowers and growing fruits ...BUT  I have a feeling that I ought to stop them after so many fruits  or even limit the number of branches.....opinions please.

They are growing in peat free compost and fed twice weekly with Tomato or Comfrey tea. Thanks.
