I have an autistic 14 yo grandson who is verbal and enjoys life.  He is not short of lovely gifts but I struggle to find something for his Christmas stocking. Any ideas that are not sox and pants? TIA

Does he enjoy puzzles, constructing things or has a collection you could add to?

I just bought my autistic son a remote control drone from Aldi £24. Know he will love it. He loves all gadget type gifts.

Theme park tickets with VIP pass so he doesn't have to queue to get on rides.

If he is autistic he doesn't have to queue for rides in a theme park. If you go straight to customer services everyone in your party gets given  a wristband to go straight to front of queue. Think they have a timed limit so that you go on just as many (not more) than anyone who queues. We have done at a lot of the theme parks and is such a relief when with autistic children.

I know that, Karamia, but if you pay for a VIP pass you can go on as many rides as you like. 

Having said that, last time we went with our friends and their autistic son and they had the usual passes you describe there were no time constraints on it.

I've bought mine a jumper.  He may not wear it of course (currently things may be 'dirty').  This is a sudden onset mental problem though and before then I have bought him books, maps and a good compass for walking.

Or are you talking literally - i.e. a small present for a stocking?
