How To Put Items In Folders In A Certain Way

I have a number of items - doc, mp3, mp4 etc etc etc, & i want to place each on in a folder of its own, with the folder named after the item.
So one item in each folder.

Is there a way to right click on each one individually & put it in a folder that I can then make automatically bear the name of the item ive put it in?

Or send the item to a folder which will also rename it.

Theres a lot so i want a way to do it quickly without having create loads of new folders, drag each item into its own new folder, & then have to manually rename the folder the name of the item.

With software? or some process?

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

If you have no other programming facilities the best way is to write a Batch (DOS) script and run under the command prompt.
