My Aunt Thinks I'm Paranoid For Not Wanting To Litter. Would This Make You As Upset As It Makes Me?

My aunt moved in with me a couple months ago. I have a cat, and when I clean her litter box, I just wipe it out, but my aunt wants me to go and spray it out in the yard. I tried to explain to her that it's an environmental hazard. She asked how I know that. I said I read it on the internet. She said that not everything I read on the internet is true. This most likely is because every source says it is. She also said that im being paranoid, and it makes her upset. I felt like saying that it's my house and I can clean my cats litter box out how I like, but I just said "im sorry". I'm just kinda ***, and annoyed.

Wow I always spray my litter box outside 3 times a week.

I have six cats. To clean a litter box by completely changing the litter on a regular basis I put all the old litter in a double thick plastic bag and then into the non recyclable waste. I clean the box using a garden house, wipe with disinfectant wipe and dry. Where is the enviromental hazard? If you think it is the spray then spray onto a cloth
