If your determined though, the hose will need to connect in some way to the lid (not beneath the water line as this will just force the water out and may damage your tumbledryer with the back pressure). The lid will also need to be vented. You can then either freeze water in the tupperware or just use cold water.
Most condensors i've seen have a central spike within the base though not sure if this is essential.
