Also I stopped ages ago using soap (bars) in the shower as that makes a terrible mess.Hope it works for you, nothing worse than a smelly shower! Just remember to open the window before you start spraying the tiles!
I used to have similar kind of problem - got round it by using a very absorbent small flannel (size of a face flannel) and wiping off all the excess droplets on the walls and shower enclosure after each use. It really doesn't take long - only a couple of minutes. So there you go - a dry shower = no mildew! You can buy these small towels in any high street shop selling household goods..
DIY stores stock special anti-mould/mildew paint for bathrooms and kitchens. I was a little sceptical at first, but after having a persistent mildew problem for years in my bathroom, since using this paint it hasn't come back - and that was 2 years ago! You have to clean the walls really well with a mould/mildew remover first, and maybe wash them down with sugar soap...but i can vouch for the paint absolutely.
