My cylinder Dyson is not working properly.
I have followed the online help section and they suggest using one of their engineers to fix it.
I am trying to decide if I shoudl buy a new Dyson or have it repaired.
Does anybody have any experience of using a Dyson engineer - good and bad tales please!

We had an engineer out when our dyson stopped picking up properly. we had been doing a lot of diy and the filters were blocked. the engineer was brill and replaced them even though he shold.t have really coz it was our fault, not the machine's. he also gave it a complete overhaul and replaced the cable which i'd broken. well worth the money!!

Which magazine found that Dyson were one of the most unreliable makes.

I had one that did not last very long considering what we paid for it (cable snapped, bit broke off).

I would never buy another Dyson.

There have been lots of previous posts about Dysons if you look .... I would say that most of them said (including me) that they would never buy another one, and a lot of us recommended Miele .

my opinion on every hoover some are better than others but I have had my dyson few years now and find it best for pet hairs .It is like a car if you dont clean the parts and look after it it is not going to last long.
