Smelly washing

Help, why is it whenever i wash polo neck jumpers no matter how i hang them to dry, indoors or out, they still smell 'fusty' as if they have not been washed ?

I have tried everything.....and its just the polo neck part that stinks.....instead of smelling of nice washed fragrance.

its driving me potty

Is your washing machine working properly, pumping out fully between cycles etc? They might also still be damp.

are you unrolling the neck to dry? if not it it will not dry properly and start to smell of damp quite soon.

also unroll before washing so that it can be throughly washed.

Aha - very insightful, I feel so dim now, never thoght of unrolling the neck part ! No wonder! Thanks for elightening me on that, will do so in future.....my machine is working fine..
