how do you keep them after they have flowered?

Well, I think they are rather troublesome. I've been given several over the years, have let the foliage ie back until it's totally wilted, and then cut it off and kept the bulb in a dry shady place in the garden. Around Sept/Oct I've repotted the bulb in fresh compost, watered lightly and brought them indoors again. And what have I got? Lots of very leafy plants and never a single flower again. I'm normally a pretty competent gardener but this is one plant which has utterly defeated me. Hope somebody else can come up with some better advice. I might learn something too.
i agree with WendyS they are very tempremental
